The very best takeaways in Leeds
Aug 30, 2022 03:33 pmWhen the working week is over and Friday night is upon us, there’s nothing that fits the bill more than a good takeaway. The trouble, though, is in the ridiculous amount of choice we have these days.
With that in mind, we’ve done the groundwork for you to make your evening even easier. Here are our picks of the best takeaways in Leeds:
Oranaise
1 The Crescent, Leeds, West Yorkshire LS6 2NW
0113 274 4422
This Moroccan and Mediterranean takeaway has been making something of a name for itself since 2002. Situated in Headingley, it’s a standout from all of the other student options in the area and it’s easy to see why when you experience their culinary skills for yourself.
Boss Burgers
Hyde Park: 75 Brudnell Grove, Leeds LS6 1HR
0113 274 0072
Chapel Allerton: 38 Harrogate Rd, Leeds LS7 4LA
0113 262 1460
If you haven’t got onto the gourmet, handmade burger craze yet, jump onto the Boss Burger bandwagon right away. Served in deliciously soft brioche buns, the Yorkshire-reared beef burgers are melt-in-your-mouth good.
Ecco Pizzeria
93 Otley Rd, Leeds LS6 3PS
0113 278 2828
Ecco is a relatively new pizzeria in Headingley and it is magnificent. They use centuries-old wood-fired techniques to make some of the most authentic Neapolitan pizza you’ll ever have the pleasure of tasting.
Burt & Nelly
18 Stonegate Rd, Leeds LS6 4HY
0113 230 6565
Even newer than Ecco, Burt & Nelly has just recently opened up in Meanwood. Its mission is to bring New York-style pizza to the pizza-loving streets of Leeds and it’s doing so by sourcing all of its ingredients from the home of pizza itself: Italy.
Gzing
2 Lincoln Rd, Leeds LS9 7NP
